THANK YOU
Animation Committee
Dear Esteemed Members of the Animation Committee,
There is a saying that an event is remembered long after it is over, not only for what happened, but for how it made people feel.
If that is true, then you have left an unforgettable mark on the celebration of the life of our beloved husband, father and brother, Pa Ndambi Paul Angemba.
Thank you.
Your assignment was never simply to organise music, cameras or performances. Your task was much greater. You were entrusted with creating an atmosphere worthy of a man whose life had touched so many.
You gave life to every part of the gathering.
From the first days of preparation through the Wake Keep and the Burial Service, this committee carried an energy that was impossible to ignore. Even in moments of grief, you reminded us that while we mourned a great loss, we were also celebrating a life of purpose, faith and legacy.
One of your finest decisions was ensuring that music played every day before the funeral, several days after the funeral and securing Emma Money as the official DJ. His professionalism, sensitivity to the occasion and ability to read the atmosphere ensured that every session flowed naturally. Music became more than background sound. It became part of the story we were telling about Dad's life.
But your work went far beyond music.
You coordinated photography and videography so that precious memories would be preserved for generations yet unborn. Long after flowers have faded and tents have disappeared, these memories will continue to speak because you understood their importance.
You mobilised groups with remarkable commitment.
The Scouts stood proudly in honour of Dad.
The Young Presbyterians (YPs) responded with enthusiasm and unity.
The Christian Men's Fellowship (CMF) came together in strength and brotherhood.
Each group's presence strengthened the programme, and each one reflected the careful coordination that happened quietly behind the scenes.
There was never a dull atmosphere because this was never a dull committee.
A special word of appreciation goes to your Chairperson, Ndambi Nancy.
Your generous financial support ensured that the committee was able to execute its entire Terms of Reference without compromise. You did not simply lead with instructions, you led by personal sacrifice, giving your own resources to ensure that excellence was never limited by circumstance.
As a family, we watched people sing together. We watched children laugh. We watched friends reconnect. We watched generations stand side by side in celebration. These moments may appear effortless to those looking on, but we know they were the fruit of careful planning, countless phone calls, rehearsals, coordination meetings and the willingness of a dedicated team to serve without seeking recognition.
You helped transform a funeral into a celebration of a life well lived.
You reminded us that honour can be expressed not only through tears, but also through joyful remembrance.
For that, we shall remain forever grateful.
May the Lord reward every sacrifice you made: every kilometre travelled, every late-night preparation, every financial contribution, every creative idea and every act of service offered in love.
May He fill your own lives with the same joy that you so freely shared with others. May your gifts continue to open doors before you, and may every seed of excellence you sowed during this season return to you in abundant harvest.
Thank you for helping us celebrate our beloved husband, father and brother, Pa Ndambi Paul Angemba, with passion, creativity and unforgettable joy.
With heartfelt appreciation,
