General Organisation Committee

Dear Esteemed Members of the General Organisation Committee,

On behalf of the entire Ndambi Family, we write with hearts overflowing with gratitude to sincerely thank each one of you for the exceptional role you played in the funeral and celebration of the life of our beloved husband, father and brother, Pa Ndambi Paul Angemba.

From the very beginning, you accepted a responsibility that was enormous. Planning a funeral of this magnitude with sensitivity to the digital age demanded sacrifice, wisdom, patience and countless hours of coordination. Many people only witnessed the beautiful outcome, but we know that behind every successful moment were numerous meetings, difficult decisions, endless phone calls, problem-solving sessions and personal sacrifices made by this committee.

By God's grace, every direct sibling and every child travelled from different places to be present. Together with relatives, friends, church members, neighbours and well-wishers, what was expected to be a gathering of about 1,000 people became a remarkable attendance of well over 1,200 people.

Despite the unexpected increase, the event remained orderly, welcoming and memorable.

The Wake Keep itself became a beautiful testimony of unity and love. What was expected to be a brief gathering naturally continued until almost 2:00 a.m., as hundreds of people remained together celebrating, comforting one another and honouring the life and legacy of our father. That atmosphere did not happen by accident. It was made possible because of the excellent planning and coordination that this committee provided.

You coordinated numerous teams, responded to changing situations, managed expectations from different groups and continually found solutions even when new challenges emerged. You remained calm under pressure, encouraged others and kept the entire programme moving forward.

Every successful committee was able to function because there was an overall structure that guided and connected everyone together. Your leadership and support gave confidence to the entire family throughout this journey.

Most importantly, you served quietly. Many of your greatest contributions happened behind the scenes where few people could see them. Yet those unseen moments often made the greatest difference.

As a family, we recognize that no words can fully express our appreciation. Please know that your time, your wisdom, your financial sacrifices, your physical labour, your prayers and your willingness to serve have left an everlasting impression upon our hearts.

May the Lord richly reward every act of kindness that you extended toward our family.

May He strengthen your own families, establish the work of your hands, bless your health, enlarge your influence and remember every sacrifice you made in secret.
