Dear Esteemed Members of the Deco, Protocol & Security Committee,

Sometimes, before people hear a word, they already feel something. They feel welcome. They feel respected. They feel the importance of the moment.

That is the power of a well-prepared environment.

As we reflect on the celebration of the life of our beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather, Pa Ndambi Paul Angemba, we are filled with gratitude for the remarkable work this committee accomplished in creating an atmosphere of honour, beauty and order.

You understood that every detail mattered.

The colours. The arrangement. The flowers. The seating. The welcome given to guests. The security provided. Each element communicated one powerful message: 'This life was precious, and this moment deserves honour.'

From the very beginning, you took ownership of the visual identity of the occasion by designating dressing codes and selecting a beautiful Ashwabi.

One of the most memorable aspects was the flower garden where Dad was laid, and that elevated stage. It was beautiful. It was peaceful. It was dignified. It created a special place of reflection where people could pause, remember, pray and honour a man whose life had touched so many.

Beyond decoration, this committee carried the serious responsibility of protocol and security alongside the Scouts.

You ensured that canopies, chairs and tables were available and properly arranged. You thought about the comfort of guests. You considered movement and organisation. You followed up with different groups and ensured that people were received and settled.

We also want to acknowledge something important. The Ndambi Family recognises that we did not always provide perfect guidance in allocating every group and responsibility. Yet, instead of allowing that to become a challenge, you stepped forward with maturity and flexibility. You adjusted, followed up and ensured that everyone under your care was satisfied.

That attitude reflects true service.

You protected the dignity of the occasion. You protected the comfort of our guests. You protected the smooth flow of activities. And you did so with grace.

Many people will remember how improved the compound looked. Many will remember the colours, the flowers, the arrangement and the welcoming atmosphere. But behind every beautiful picture was a team that planned, organised, corrected and served. That team was you.
