Church Committee

Dear Esteemed Leaders and Members of this committee,

There are moments in life when words are not enough. Moments when a family does not only need people around them, but needs people to stand with them. And you stood with us.

With grateful hearts, we sincerely thank the Church Committee and all the church groups who represented the body of Christ with love, humility and dedication.

You reminded us of what Scripture teaches: 'Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.' — Galatians 6:2

You carried our burdens with us.

Through the different church groups, Young Presbyterians (YPs), Christian Youth Fellowship (CYF), Christian Men's Fellowship (CMF), CWF, Zion Choir and other church groups, each group brought its own strength and character.

The youth brought energy, willingness and enthusiasm. The men brought maturity, support and brotherly encouragement.

You helped ensure that the funeral was not only an event, but also a testimony of God's faithfulness through His people.

We also deeply appreciate the care shown toward the pastoral team through the provision of Pastors' Food. Your thoughtfulness recognised those who stood with us spiritually, prayed with us and provided guidance throughout this difficult season.

When the Wake Keep continued late into the night, when hundreds gathered in fellowship, when people travelled from different places to honour Dad, your presence helped create an atmosphere of love and spiritual unity.

You ensured that the participation of the church was alive and prominent. You ensured we did a thanksgiving with style.

Thank you to every pastor, leader, youth, man, woman and member who played a role.

Thank you for every prayer lifted. Thank you for every contribution given. Thank you for every hour volunteered.

Thank you for standing with the Ndambi Family.

May the Lord continue to strengthen His church through you. May He reward your labour of love, increase your joy in serving Him and cause your own families to experience the same support and kindness you extended to us.

May the legacy of Pa Ndambi Paul Angemba continue to remind us all that a life of faith, love and service leaves footprints that generations can follow.
