Adieu, My Hero In your arms, I learned to "bite nang firi." Your deeds gave me an inner strength that kept me going. As a little child, you taught me my ABCs. Through every season of life, you moulded me. In Scouting, I earned medals beyond count. In CAMNAFAW, we stood faithfully through every duty call. Even in marriage, you reminded me, "Education has no limit." With the words, "You can do it," you encouraged me to climb every ladder. I can never thank you enough, my hero. Even on your last day, your smiles came freely. You made jokes, bright and clear. Though I weep because of the pain in my heart, I rejoice, for heaven rejoices over a soul gained, like a good and faithful servant welcomed home. Honesty, truth, and loyalty to man, nation, and God Almighty— these are the virtues you taught us. The good seed you sowed lives on. Your legacy lives on, Dad. Rest on, Daddy. Your daughter, Apha
