My beloved Father, son of an evangelist, how I wish you could have stayed with us a little longer. My heart is shattered beyond words. I was still trying to heal from losing my husband, and now I have to say goodbye to you too. Sometimes the pain feels unbearable, but I thank God for blessing me with a father as loving, wise, and wonderful as you. Dad, you were truly one of a kind. You carried yourself with dignity, kindness, and humility. You had a smile that could light up any room and a laughter so warm and infectious that everyone around you couldn’t help but smile with you. You made people feel seen, welcomed, and deeply loved. Thank you, Dad, for everything you did for me. Thank you for your unconditional love, your sacrifices, your prayers, your guidance, and your unwavering belief in me. You taught me not only with your words but through the life you lived. You showed me the importance of faith, honesty, hard work, forgiveness, and compassion. Because of you, I became a stronger and better person. You were my father, my teacher, my encourager, my protector, and my friend. Whenever I needed wisdom, you were there. Whenever I doubted myself, you reminded me of my worth. Your confidence in me gave me the courage to keep going, even during life’s hardest moments. Your love extended far beyond our family. So many lives were touched by your generosity, your gentle spirit, and your willingness to help anyone in need. You never sought recognition, yet your goodness spoke louder than words. The legacy you leave behind is not found in material things, but in the countless hearts you inspired and the lives you changed. Today, although we mourn your passing, we also celebrate a life beautifully lived. We celebrate your unwavering faith, your strength, your kindness, and the incredible father you were. While tears fill our eyes, our hearts are also filled with gratitude because we were blessed to call you our father. Dad, although your voice is silent now, I will continue to hear your words of encouragement in my heart. Although I can no longer hold your hand, I will forever carry your love with me. The memories we shared, the laughter, the conversations, the lessons, and the love will remain treasures that no one can ever take away. It comforts me to know that you have gone home to be with the Lord, where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears. I know Heaven has welcomed a faithful servant, and I trust that one glorious day we will meet again. Until that beautiful day, rest peacefully, my precious Dad. Thank you for loving me, believing in me, praying for me, and shaping me into the person I am today. I will miss you every single day, but I will carry your love, your values, and your memory with me for the rest of my life.
