Dad, "Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23 Today my heart is heavy, but it is also full. Full of gratitude for a man who taught me what it means to live with passion and to walk with God. Dad, you were fire and faith, all in one man. You loved the Lord with everything in you. Your Bible was worn, not for show, but because you lived in it. When life shook us, you didn’t panic, you prayed. You would lift your hands and say, “God is still on the throne.” And because you believed it, we believed it too. Your faith was not Sunday-only. It was your breath. It was how you raised us, how you worked, how you forgave, how you kept going. You were passionate about everything you touched. Passionate about your family. You protected us, provided for us, and prayed over us. Passionate about your purpose. Whether it was your work, church ministry ( YP and CYF) or the scout, you didn’t do it halfway. If your name was on it, your best was in it. Passionate about people. Your seeds are everywhere not because they are biological but because you were passionate about helping people. You had a word, a meal, or a prayer for anyone who needed it. Dad, you showed us God in human form. You were strong, but you were tender. You corrected us in love. You celebrated us loudly. You laughed until your eyes watered, and you cried when your heart was moved. We are not saying goodbye to your influence. Death does not bury legacy. The prayers you prayed over us are still working. The values you planted are still growing. The God you served is still with us. So we grieve, yes, but we grieve with hope. Because you are not lost. You have gone home. To you, Dad: Thank you for showing me Jesus before I ever opened a Bible. Thank you for your sacrifices I’ll never fully understand. Thank you for your hands that worked hard and your knees that stayed on the ground in prayer. Thank you for spending your last days on earth with me. Your passing on to glory came barely a week after I was elected elder of the PCC. So I will carry your faith like a torch. I will live with the same passion you modeled. I promise. To Heaven Welcome him, Lord. The servant who loved You, served You, and finished his race. Give him the rest he earned, the joy he believed in, and the “well done” he lived for. Dad, rest in peace. Rest in glory. We love you. We honor you. Until we meet again at the feet of Jesus. Your daughter Lady Nimino
