THANK YOU
The Scouts
Dear Members of the Scout Movement,
Some acts of honour are spoken. Others are demonstrated.
On the occasion of the celebration of the life of our beloved husband, father and brother, Pa Ndambi Paul Angemba, you chose to honour him not only with words, but with discipline, sacrifice and presence.
For this, the Ndambi Family is deeply grateful.
When we saw you arrive in your uniforms, carrying the pride and dignity of the Scout Movement, we were reminded of something powerful: true honour is not only expressed in ceremonies. It is expressed through commitment. It is expressed through showing up. It is expressed through serving even when conditions are not easy.
You honoured your beloved Commander in a remarkable and memorable way.
The campfire created a beautiful moment of reflection. Around that fire, stories, memories and emotions came together as people gathered to celebrate a life that impacted many.
The parade displayed the discipline, organisation and respect that define the Scout Movement. Your presence brought a special dignity to the occasion and demonstrated the values that scouting represents.
The honours you presented were not simply a programme item. They were a statement of respect. A statement that a leader's life matters. A statement that service deserves recognition. A statement that legacy should be celebrated.
What touched us deeply was not only what you did, but how you did it.
In the rain, you remained. Under the sun, you remained. When it was comfortable, you served. When it was challenging, you still stood firm.
That kind of commitment speaks louder than any speech.
Many people came to mourn. You came to honour. Many people came to observe. You came to participate. Many people came for a moment. You gave your time, energy and discipline to create memories that will remain.
Your presence also carried a message to the younger generation. Through your actions, you demonstrated that respect for elders, service to community and commitment to something greater than oneself are values worth preserving.
In honouring Kim Ndambi Paul Angemba, you also honoured the principles he represented: leadership, family, responsibility and service.
To every Scout who marched, every leader who coordinated, every person who prepared, every young person who sacrificed time and energy to be present, we say thank you.
May the Lord continue to guide your steps. May He strengthen your leaders, bless every young Scout and raise within you men and women of character, courage and compassion.
May the spirit of service that brought you together for this occasion continue to shape your lives and communities.
The Ndambi Family will always remember that, during a very important moment in our history, the Scouts stood proudly with us.
You were not just participants.
With sincere gratitude,
